My son Nik, the young IT Professional, is assigned to a client project at his place of employment that brings him to Utah from Atlanta (where he currently lives) on a weekly basis. He has been coming here like this since October of 2013, and is expecting to continue on like that until at least August of 2014.
Right now, we average one dinner a month together – but our goal is to have dinner together once weekly.
At least that is my goal.
I don’t think it is a goal shared equally by Nik. Here are the top 6 excuses he has used in the past to cancel dinner with me.
