After I posted my review of Muppets Most Wanted (as a series of Bullet Points) here, I shared it on FB and it created some great conversation on how the new generation of Muppet Movies compare to our childhood love of the Muppets. Since we are all old, that basically dates back to the original movies and TV series, as well as their premier on Sesame Street.
I thought it would be fun to just post the thread here for posterity’s sake. Continue reading
Since no one actually pays attention to me on Twitter, I started posting Random Snippets of Dialogue from stories that I will never write. That morphed a bit over that initial 10 posts to something slightly more interesting to me – Twitter-sized character studies. In effect, short stories of 140 characters or less. This is the third bunch of 10 that I have posted so far. Continue reading
I have seen Noah twice now and think it is a heady, beautiful film that finally gives the Noah story some substance beyond the kind of Sunday School/Bedtime children’s tale it has become in the last 100 years or so. I also realize it has turned out to be a fairly polarizing film for a variety of reasons. So, instead of writing a review of it, or even doing it as bullet points, I thought I would just post the comment thread from my FB page. (Nicole wins best comment.)
It all kicks off with my Twitter Review (which I cross-posted to FB). Continue reading

Every once in a while I try to tackle the big wide social world all on my own and create a meme. I have failed to have any kind of impact whatsoever. Every single time. Here is my latest attempt – a short series of tweets tied into the True Detective Yellow King back story.
These are just odds and ends from my Twitter feed that have built up over the last couple of years and don’t really fit well into any one category, but I still think are worth archiving in this manner.
These are just some of my poor attempts over the last couple of years in which I tried to either jump on a trending Twitter bandwagon or start my own meme.
Both to little effect.
I think these six tweets from opening day pretty much sum up all of my thoughts on the movie The Dark Knight Rises.
I generally spend an inordinate amount of time inside of my head crafting reviews and opinion pieces that I then forget before writing them down. With the advent of Twitter and FB, I started sharing out random thoughts and ideas with the intention of writing something more indepth at a later date. That has rarely happened.
This second series of vaguely movie related tweets (the first being here) span the period from March 13, 2012 to today – August 28, 2013. They are listed in the order in which they were originally tweeted. I may be missing some, because picking through a spreadsheet of tweets is a pain in the ass.
And now, may I present to you… A Second Series of Vaguely Movie Related Tweets:
