Being a creative in a Business environment involves a lot of presenting and selling creative execution to clients that do not have strong creative backgrounds. I have long wanted to wade into the deep and murky waters of Internet Meme List Making. Working in an actual creative industry for what I like to define as a Creative Agency, the recent rash of lists on what defines a creative person really jumped out at me, and I decided to dive in head first. It also gave me the chance to test out Getty Images new policy of letting blogs embed their images for free for non financial purposes, which I think is a very cool initiative on their part.
So, without further ado, may I present to you, based on my experience working in Advertising/Marketing (and considering myself a partial creative as well), the Top 7 Signs that define a real and truly creative person.
These are just some of my poor attempts over the last couple of years in which I tried to either jump on a trending Twitter bandwagon or start my own meme.
Both to little effect.
I generally spend an inordinate amount of time inside of my head crafting reviews and opinion pieces that I then forget before writing them down. With the advent of Twitter and FB, I started sharing out random thoughts and ideas with the intention of writing something more indepth at a later date. That has rarely happened.

It is time once again for me to do a quick personal plug for our annual Comedy Short Film Festival (www.gangreneproductions.com & www.facebook.com/gangrenefilmfestival). It is less than a week away (at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater in Layton, Utah on Friday, September 14th) and I would like to encourage you to attend for a multitude of reasons (several of which I have bullet-pointed the last couple of years on Blogmaster2000.com and on Facebook and will now copy and paste and update where necessary):
Every once in a while I try to tackle the big wide social world all on my own and create a meme. I have failed to have any kind of impact whatsoever. Every single time. Here is my personal favorite attempt that gained zero notice on Twitter, and only made a little blip on Facebook when I reposted it to a Fan Page I administrate there for a local weekly comedy show that I produce.
